Thanks, m-l. I’m hoping it might be a good subject for the photo etching course. Planethalder, I didn’t. It’s a dried-out jellyfish and is unbelievably brittle and wouldn’t have survived any handling. The picture was a collaborative effort – firstborn spotted the jellyfish, secondborn insisted it be placed on that rock to have its picture taken. I usually take pictures of things without touching or moving them but this really worked.

I was going to ask if you’d been setting fire to the boys’ toys or plastic floral pieces, because that would have been one finely-skilled melt: rr and her blowtorch art.
